I capped the frame rate at 30 on all my Source engine games, which dramatically improved battery life (I can play roughly twice as long on battery power, and it puts much less wear and tear on the CPU and GPU). Of all my Source games, L4D2 is the only one I have been unable to cap. Since I'm unable to solve my viewmodel issue, I have decided to try uninstalling my game entirely and reinstalling it to hopefully solve the issue. I have tried unsubscribing from all my addons, deleting the L4D2 folder, and even disabling L4D2's cloud save, but every time I uninstall and reinstall L4D2, my settings (console commands, etc.) from before still save.
