You'll have to wait for ANet's periodic server expansions or for people to change servers in order to join. Whenever they implement guesting it won't matter what server you're on, however. ou'd have to check the official server forums. If you pick one that's too small WvW will be dead and if you pick one that's to large then you'll have to deal with a que. Then again this post is 4 days old so I'm sure you've figured it out by now. It's also a matter of timezone. If you go to a NA server that has close to no force during SEA/OCX Usually as free2play you can only change your server before you created your very first character. But I read in the wiki that free2play players can ask the support once for a free server transfer. And I guess upgrading to a full account would indeed also give one free server transfer. #1. On a good day, you will experience constant 300 pings and above gameplay delay and constant lag. On a bad day your ping will go as high as 4000 pings. There for you can play with your friends together in PvE regardless what server (and region). If you could not get to the same instance then it could be that the map was full. You can never join a full map even if your friend is on it. If/when you buy an expansion you'll be able to change world once for free. Deleting all your characters to change doesn't work if you haven't purchased an expansion.
